About Western Star Communications

 Western Star Communications has been providing telephone answering services to businesses in Southwestern Wyoming since 1970. Originally called Dolce Telephone Answering Service, the name was changed when the business was purchased by Dena and Tom Jankowski in 1994. Dena manages the day-to-day operational part of the business, and Tom provides technical backup.


 Dena, a 30-year resident of Wyoming, spent her growing years in and around the Rock Springs area. She started in the telephone answering business in 1981 when she was 18-years old, working as a telephone secretary and learning the business from the ground up. After she and Tom purchased Western Star they not only changed the business name, but also made a substantial investment in the business, upgrading from older cord board answering equipment to a modern, computer-controlled answering system. A wise investment that enabled them to provide more and better services to existing clients and to triple their business.

 Western Star operates out of Rock Springs, Wyoming serving clients from Vernal, UT to Casper, WY as well as other locations throughout the state. They are a major provider of messaging and alarm services to the Oil and Gas industry throughout Southwestern Wyoming, and also serve the broader business community with a wide range of communications services.

 Dena and Tom are dedicated communications specialists committed to the messaging services industry, to the state of Wyoming, and to the future growth of their business.
